As a Store Detective, you will play a crucial role in the investigation of criminal activities, gathering evidence, and ensuring the safety of the community. Duties

Conduct thorough criminal investigations to gather evidence and solve cases. Utilize surveillance techniques, including CCTV monitoring, to observe and document suspicious activities. Prepare detailed reports on findings and case progress for court presentations and departmental records. Collaborate with law enforcement personnel and other agencies to share information and resources. Implement loss prevention strategies to reduce theft and ensure security in various environments. Interview witnesses, victims, and suspects to gather pertinent information related to investigations. Manage conflicts that arise during investigations or interactions with the public. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in law enforcement.

Requirements

Proven experience in law enforcement or a related field is essential. Strong background in criminal investigation techniques and procedures. Proficiency in surveillance methods, including the use of CCTV systems. Excellent report writing skills to document findings clearly and accurately. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and security protocols. Effective conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally. Strong observational skills with attention to detail for gathering evidence. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
