Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager with hospitality experience to lead our team at Dumdum Donutterie. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and high standard of service.
Your ability to communicate effectively and manage a diverse team will be key to your success in this role.
The manager role should balance operational efficiency, team management, and customer satisfaction which is crucial to the ongoing success of Dumdum Donutterie.
Duties
Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve sales targets to drive profitability.
Oversee daily store operations to maintain store and product standards.
Manage store inventory, including ordering supplies, reducing waste, and ensuring high availability of products.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to enhance store performance.
Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance while fostering a positive work environment.
Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting on sales performance.
Ensure compliance with company brand policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Utilise strong organisational skills to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging and understanding their needs and resolve any issues promptly.
Manage health, safety, and hygiene within the workplace. Oversee strict protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for both customers and employees and to comply with all legal regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar supervisory role is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse clientele.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Administrative experience is beneficial for managing operational processes efficiently.
Business acumen: Knowledge of, inventory control, and delivering against targeted sales.
Flexibility to work various shifts to meet the needs of the business.
