Store Stock Controller

who will take full ownership of in-store stock accuracy across all RIXO stores. This is a pivotal role, responsible for building, embedding, and maintaining robust stock processes, training retail teams, and providing actionable insights to leadership.


You will act as the link between Stores, Merchandising, Finance, our 3PL, and our systems, ensuring all teams are working from a single version of the truth when it comes to stock. This role is essential to enabling business-critical decision-making and delivering an exceptional customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:




Own the full store stock control function across all RIXO retail locations. Oversee and coordinate weekly store deliveries, raising inter-store transfers, supporting store teams to receipt deliveries accurately, and tracking goods end-to-end. Conduct weekly cycle counts in all stores. Identify and investigate any variances; report findings and accuracy trends to leadership with clear action plans. Lead and manage all quarterly full stocktakes, ensuring consistency in execution and reporting across all sites. Build and roll out a company-wide training manual for in-store stock handling, processes, and best practices. Train all store staff to ensure adherence. Manage monthly store consolidations, ensuring accurate packing and seamless receipt into the warehouse. Maintain accurate stock data across all platforms - including Shopify, NetSuite (ERP), and our 3PL - through continuous reconciliation and proactive problem-solving. Support the Merchandising and Finance teams with ad hoc reporting, audits, and stock-related insights to drive decision-making. Develop a process for store fulfilment for ecom orders, working closely with our IT department on system set up, training the store teams and managing the roll out across stores.

Required Skills & Experience:




Proven experience working with Shopify and NetSuite (or similar ERP systems) Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets Demonstrated attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills Proactive communicator who can work cross-functionally and influence at all levels Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment with competing priorities Able to travel regularly to our 4 London stores, with occasional visits to our Swindon warehouse and Irish store as needed
