J Reddington are looking for an experienced Storeman for our project in Southwark, London SE1. This contract is available to start immediately and we can offer up to 12 months work.


The project is a new build of apartments in Central Southampton, project value 100m

JOB DUTIES

12 months work available Storeman duties, deliveries, material distribution, making concrete cubes, signage, cleaning duties on site will also be require Must have a good knowledge of construction materials and plant. Control Materials In / Out of the Stores. Issue materials to Contractors from the Stores using a formal Issue Procedure Identify when material stocks need to be replenished in good time Keep the stores tidy and organised. Accept and check deliveries. Report any issues to Midgard Management immediately. Collect & sign delivery documentation. Issue to Midgard Management weekly.

HOURS & PAY

Rate is 145.00 per day paid directly by us on site (not agency work and no umbrella companies to pay) Site hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch break (9hrs worked) CSCS Card required UTR Number are required for self-employed payment

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2 years experience as a storeman on construction projects Construction experience essential Good knowledge of construction materials Must have a Valid CSCS PPE Required Must be able to communicate in english both verbally and written Valid Work Permit / Right to Work in UK
