We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Store Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the bakery environment, ensuring the efficient handling of goods and materials. Ingredient and packaging. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with fellow team members.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from vans and lorries, ensuring safe handling and storage. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage methods are employed to prevent damage.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift. Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is desirable. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
