Stores Administrative Assistant

to support our Manufacturing Stores team. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and experience with

Role Overview



As a

Stores Administrative Assistant

, you will play a crucial role in managing material bookings, consumable ordering, and inventory control. Your accuracy and efficiency will help keep our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Material Booking & Inventory Management:



Accurately book in materials received from suppliers using

Sage 200

. Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes. Maintain

accurate stock records

and report discrepancies to the Head of Recycling Assist with

regular stock checks

to ensure inventory accuracy.

Consumable Ordering & Supplier Coordination:



Monitor stock levels of consumables (tools, PPE, shop floor supplies) and place orders as needed. Ensure

timely delivery

of orders to prevent production delays. Manage supplier relationships and resolve any order-related issues.

Documentation & Reporting:



Maintain purchase orders, receipts, and other relevant paperwork. Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations. Use

Excel

for reporting and data management.

Communication & Support:



Coordinate with

production and procurement teams

to ensure material availability. Provide administrative support to the

Head of Recycling

Respond promptly to internal inquiries regarding stock and orders.

What we're looking for



Essential:



Experience

in an administrative or stores role (preferably in manufacturing or warehousing).

Proficiency

in

Sage 200

or a similar ERP system for inventory management. Strong

organisational and time-management

skills. High

attention to detail

to ensure accuracy in data entry and stock tracking.

Good communication skills

, both written and verbal. Experience using

Excel

for reporting and data management.

Desirable:



Qualification in

Business Administration

or

Supply Chain Management

. Familiarity with materials management and ordering procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,766.00 per year

Work Location: In person
