We're looking for a hands-on person with a can-do, pro-active approach to take on this varied and exciting position managing the Kimpton stores and construction equipment, ensuring the right assets and equipment are in the right place, at the right time.



The role requires an organised tenacious character to get the job done. It requires qualities that will support and develop the already positive culture of our team to deliver at the highest possible level for our customers.



You will be adaptable and flexible towards changing plans/tasks as & when required with the ability to communicate with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and the public - clearly, courteously, and professionally.



You will need to be physically fit and able, being capable of undertaking regular manual handling tasks when required.



A sound understanding of construction site working requirements and practices will be an advantage along with a common sense attitude, good initiative for getting done what needs to be done, and a good practical aptitude.


Essential Skills / Qualifications / Attributes




Full UK driving licence (minimum class B), held for minimum of 5 years, and having previous experience of driving 3.5t GVW vans. An ability to maintain equipment through digital records. (Good computer literacy is essential). Grounded practical hands-on knowledge/abilities to undertake basic equipment inspection / maintenance. Good understanding of managing construction equipment hires, site supply logistics, stocks, and asset tracking/compliance. Highly organised, methodical, with good literacy and numeracy skills. Safe (hands-on) materials handling, loading and load securing skills for safety at depots and sites, as well as when on the road.

Desirable Skills / Attributes:




Professional buying negotiation experience. Valid CITB CSCS certification. Experience of maintaining tools/equipment and records to satisfy audit requirements.
