EnergyAce are seeking to recruit an experienced Stores Manager with Driving licence & Fork Truck licence with a good knowledge of operating a busy engineering store to assist our growing manufacturing department located in Chorley Lancs.

The Package:



Basic Salary: 28,664 per year + Profit Share + Overtime - Circa: 31,500

The company is growing and experiencing some of the most exciting times in our 23 year history with expansion requiring a full time Stores Manager to run our established, well organised engineering stores to ISO9001 standards. The experienced Stores Manager will operate from our factory in Chorley, Lancs which has great commuter links and offers a safe and great environment to work with a fantastic committed team of good people.

The company works with many household names in retail and hospitality, it is also strong within the food, chemical and general manufacturing sectors delivering energy saving systems and improving utility on sites throughout the UK.

We seek to recruit someone with at least 5 years experience of working within a similar role to become an integral member of our small but busy expanding team.

The Role:



The role requires an experienced Stores Manager with a full Driving License and Fork Truck licence. The role would suit and experienced stores person with a good knowledge of operating a busy engineering store with good organisational skills to manage the day to day stories activities, replenish stock and pick orders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years experience in a similar role and the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a wider team.

At times there may also be an opportunity to assist with electro mechanical assembly of EnergyAce products prior to main assembly on the shop floor.

Key Skills include:



Full driving licence. Forklift licence. Offloading goods from vehicles. Moving goods around in stores. Collecting or delivering parts when required. Receiving goods and checking against orders. Processing delivery notes. Inspecting goods for damage. Picking goods from shelves for issue to production. Packing and sending orders to customers. Good organisational skills. Good teamwork skills. Ability to identify, handle & process sometimes heavy electrical components. The ability to read & implement procedural instructions. Keeping good care of company assets, tools and plant etc.

The Candidate:



Working from the EnergyAce head office in Chorley, the ideal candidate would need to work well individually and as part of a small expanding team.

Qualities around diligence, reliability and enthusiasm are key while the right person would need to demonstrable a good knowledge of operating an engineering stores.

The ideal candidate for this role must have at least 5 years of relevant and recent experience of working in a similar role around electro mechanical assembly.

Candidates will also need:

An understanding of safe practice & health and safety Maintain a good housekeeping policy Good written and verbal communication skills to complete paperwork and understand tasks To work well independently and also as part of a team Possess a good level of physical fitness. Ability to work quickly and methodically.

Experience Required



MUST have Full Driving License

MUST have Fork Truck License

MUST have at least 5 years relevant experience

Monday 8am - 16:15pm

Tuesday 8am - 16:15pm

Wednesday 8am - 16:15pm

Thursday 8am - 16:15pm

Friday 8am - 15:00pm
