The role

Are you passionate about contributing to your community by ensuring well-organised and efficient depot and store operations within our Liverpool depot?

We are seeking a committed individual to join our team as a Depot & Stores Officer. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our maintenance and capital works teams to ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment essential for street lighting, signage, and associated electrical systems are readily available and well-maintained.

Who we are looking for:

Experience:

Working in stores or depot management related to street lighting or electrical systems.

Qualifications

: ECS Test completion (desirable but not essential) First Aid certification, NPORS telescopic handler experience/licence.

Knowledge:

Solid understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.

Safety Commitment:

Strong dedication to Health and Safety regulations, particularly in a depot environment.

Driving License:

A full clean UK Driving license is required for this role.

Role and responsibilities;

What your role will include:

Depot Management:

Manage day-to-day depot operations, including stock control, equipment maintenance, and health and safety compliance.

Inventory Control:

Conduct regular stock checks, maintain accurate inventory records, and collaborate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.

Equipment Distribution:

Coordinate the distribution of tools, equipment, and supplies to field teams, supporting project execution.

Quality Control:

Manage material warranties, process faulty items, and maintain equipment in good working condition.

Health and Safety:

Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations within the depot environment.

Project Support:

Provide equipment and materials for new installations and maintenance tasks.

Additional Duties:

Undertake other tasks as required to support depot operations and project success.
