Hours of work for this role:

Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 17:00

Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the Stores Team Leader this role is responsible for providing an all-round support service within a busy manufacturing materials / stores environment. Other duties involved in this role are as follows:

Main duties will include:

Carry out inspection of goods received, checking for damage, quantity and quality of items received. Operate FLT'S for loading and unloading goods, whilst maintaining a valid forklift licence at all times. Assist with annual and random stock checks including the administration function. Distribute goods and materials internally as and when required. Have a flexible approach with working during times of increased workload. Ensure that the store areas are kept tidy at all times by leading by example, complying with Company Health & Safety requirements. Any other duties commensurate within this position and skill set required.

Skills & Experience Required:

Having a forklift licence would be an advantage. Be well organised with good interpersonal skills. Ability to work well as part of a team. Must be quality driven with attention to detail and accuracy being paramount in everything achieved.

Salary for this role will be dependent on experience. Full time, permanent contract. 28 days holiday (inclusive of annual, bank/public days) increasing with service. Access to a contributory company pension scheme. A varied and interesting role.
