Reporting to the Stores Manager, the Stores Operative will be responsible for the management of material from receipt through to issue.

What you'll be doing:
Unloading/loading Vehicles.
Goods In - Visual inspection and acceptance of incoming material and packaging to ensure consignments are correct as per purchase order and quality requirements.
Storage of material in accordance with material control and product preservation procedures.
Inventory movements ensuring system transactions are completed accurately.
Order picking and delivery of kits to production.
Picking and packaging of items for dispatch.
Cycle count inventory to ensure accurate stock status.
Ensuring externally stored material is suitably covered to prevent contamination.
Work with Stores Team Leader to improve operating procedures to continuously meet customer expectations.
Assist in stock take process according to company procedures.
Comply with regulations and policies in environmental, health and safety and quality.
Participate in risk assessments and health and safety audits.
Daily housekeeping of Stores and yard area to ensure areas are clean and tidy.
Any other duties as required to fulfil role and schedule.
You'll need to have:
Experience working in a stores environment.
Well organised and capable of prioritising and multi-tasking, and working to agreed schedules.
Must be computer literate, experience in the use of MRP systems.
Self-motivated.
Flexible approach to the workload.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for the role.
3.5 ton forklift driving license.
It would be great if you had:
5 ton forklift driving license.
Banksman Training.
