Established in 2009, Contract Production are based in Pickering, and we are now one of the leading UK based sub-contract electronics manufacturers in the UK. We provide a range of high-quality electronics production services, including PCB assembly and testing, box build and BGA placement to a wide variety of customers. As a business we continue to grow year on year and have ambitious growth plans for the next 5 years.

This is a great opportunity to become a valued part of our Stores team and represents a fantastic opportunity for the right person to develop as we grow.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of our stores department by accurately receiving, checking, storing and kitting electronic components and material for production. This position is crucial to supporting smooth production workflows and maintaining accurate inventory.

In more detail this means you will:

Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality. Put stock away in designated storage locations in a methodical and organised manner. Pick and kit materials accurately for production jobs in line with schedules. Assist with regular stock checks and cycle counts. Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.

What will you bring to the role?

You will be approachable, a good communicator, someone who has a can-do attitude with a strong team ethic and likes working with people to deliver a great service. You will have strong numerical and literacy skills with an eye for detail. You are a team player with a proactive and reliable attitude.

Desirable:

Previous experience in a stores/warehouse environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing. Familiarity with electronic components and PCB manufacturing processes.
