Summary

As Stores person you will be responsible for receiving goods in to stores, ensuring stock accuracy and maintaining an organised and tidy store.

You will ensure that materials are readily available in line with production schedule and supplied line-side in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Responsible for receipt of goods in. Ensure all deliveries are checked and signed for and relevant paperwork is processed on computerised system. Ensure any anomalies are reported to Purchasing department. Keep yard organised and tidy at all times, storing goods safely in designated area. Manage waste, segregating into correct bins/skips. Manage flow of supplies to production to allow smooth running of daily production plan. Responsible for stock accuracy, carrying out stock counts and reporting to Purchasing department. Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed and report any issues to Supervisor.

Requirements:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (training can be provided) Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages - Outlook, Word and Excel (training provided) Good communication skills. Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload. Ability to work under pressure and be fully dependable and reliable.
