O&H Vehicle Conversions is the largest and fastest growing emergency vehicle manufacturer in the UK, specialising in the conversion of Ambulances and Fire Appliances. Employing over 170 people, we are revolutionising our industry and making a real difference to our frontline key workers.
JOB SUMMARY
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries of raw materials and components
Store items in appropriate locations using appropriate handling equipment.
Pick and issue materials to production teams based on job orders or schedules.
Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist with cycle counting and audits.
Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Liaise with procurement, production, and quality teams to resolve stock issues
Keep the stores area clean, organized, and secure. In Line with the rules of the department.
Adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations
Essential requirements:
2 years FLT experience (Ideally a Bendy Truck licence).
Computer literate
Be able to work under pressure
Good communication skills (face to face and phone)
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Must take a pride in their work and ensure work is completed to a high standard
Full, clean UK driving license
Desirable requirements:
Knowledge of an ERP System, and other warehouse management software would be an advantage
We will be requiring the hours of work to be rotating shifts of Monday -Thursday 7:00am- 15:30pm, 7:00am - 13:00pm on Friday. And Monday -Thursday 8:00am-16:30pm, 7:00am-13:00pm on Friday.
This is based on 38 hours per week.
