To manage the stores team and carry out all duties of stores function, eg: ASNs, receipt and despatch of goods, inventory control and maintenance of supply to production lines.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Effective team management.
Effective store management including (but not limited to)
- CHEP
- Darwin
- Booking collections & deliveries through haulier portals (DHL, Delsol, etc...)
- Goods in and despatch records.
- Stock check management/storage/rotation.
- Customer/delivery note documentation and product identity.
KEY TASKS:
To lead and manage the team effectively, ensuring that it adheres to the despatch plan and published standards for Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental Management while developing both the team and individual members to help ensure personal growth and continuous improvement.
To understand and ensure adherence to customer MP&L standards
Asses and implement packaging solutions for customers
Stock management
Periodic Stock Takes
Ensuring Safe Working Practices
Housekeeping
Warehouse security
To work with all members of the production department to form one effective team
To communicate with the senior management team to ensure issues are resolved promptly
To identify and instigate programmes intended to resolve issues, improve quality, or otherwise improve the operations of the company
To ensure that the work area is maintained in a tidy condition in accordance with 6S principles
To undertake such other work required by the undertakings of the company as required from time to time

Salary range: 28 - 32k (Negotiable depending on experience/skills)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- FLT License (Reach & Counter balance)
- 5years minimum experience in FMG environment
- The ability to work on one's own initiative to achieve objectives.
- The ability to communicate effectively including IT skills.
- Able to respond positively to changing work demands.
- Has a logical and methodical approach to problem solving/fault-finding issues.
- Is conscientious and thorough in all aspects of work responsibilities and has a professional approach to work.
Desirable Skills
Trained to IMT level 2 as a minimum, ideally level 3
