Stores Team Leader

This is a day based role with responsibility to the Mill Purchasing and Logistics functions covering; purchasing, site contracts, spare parts issues, materials movements, Northfleet Terminal and ship discharge, and all site vehicles.
The span of responsibility for the role is across; South Site Engineering Stores, South Site Pulp Yard, Site vehicles, and North Site; Terminal and Pulp Yard, with truck logistics between the two areas.
Key Responsibilities
Lead purchasing processes, vendor payments, and contract management
Oversee stock transfers, inventory accuracy, and material handling
Maintain safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards in logistics areas
Manage site vehicles, truck fleet contracts, and optimize transport efficiency
Foster continuous improvement, applying LEAN principles across accountable areas
Build strong supplier relationships and ensure adherence to internal controls

Educated to a degree level or with 3-5 years of experience of people Leadership in a manufacturing environment
SAP knowledge will be an advantage
Proactive attitude to Safety
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Good attention to detail
A high level of personal accountability and tenacity to solve problems
Knowledge of goods movement processes
