The Role
The Stores Technician will report to the Factory Manager, operating within the wider operations function under the leadership of the Operations Director. The role is central to ensuring materials and finished goods move safely, accurately, and efficiently through the factory.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with transport companies to coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries
Receive, inspect, record, and transfer all goods entering and leaving the factory
Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
Ensure dispatched goods are securely packed and clearly labelled for installation crews
Store raw materials and finished goods in a safe, organised, and tidy manner
Maintain high housekeeping standards across all stores areas
Minimise waste by following procedures, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Handle waste in accordance with Health & Safety and Environmental Management procedures
Adhere strictly to Health & Safety policies and safe working practices
Undertake additional duties as required to support Novograf's operational and strategic objectives
About You
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or production environment
Experience with stock receipt, packing, and stock control
Valid forklift licence (essential)
Strong work ethic with a proactive, reliable approach
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality
