Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Stores Assistant

Location: Rutherglen

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: Immediate start available for the right candidate

Pay: 12.21 per hour (age 21+); younger applicants paid in line with National Minimum Wage

About the Role:



We are a busy roofing manufacturer based in Rutherglen, and we're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our team. If you're punctual, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a hands-on environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:



Picking and packing orders

Sorting and managing warehouse stock

General warehouse duties

Assisting customers at the trade counter

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

What We're Looking For:



Good timekeeping and reliability

Confident dealing with customers and building relationships

Willingness to learn - full training will be provided

Strong numeracy skills and basic computer literacy

Forklift licence preferred but not essential

GCSE or equivalent qualification (preferred)

Working Hours:



Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Overtime available during busy periods
