Job Summary

We are seeking someone who can work in our Stores team for the first three months and then move across to our Production team, manufacturing metal detector heads.

Duties

For Stores:
Physically moving stock/parts in/out of the racking by instruction/guidance.
Receiving goods in but not checking off the contents.
Shipping parcels/FG out.
Loading and unloading vehicles for either collections or deliveries.

For Production:
Mechanical assembly of component parts and assemblies to the agreed technical specification/customer's order.
Marking up/drilling stainless steel materials.
Cutting and assembly of sheet wood.
Maintaining workshop area clean/tidy.
Adhering to Health and Safety polices.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Experience using hand tools and power tools in a production or assembly setting. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Working Hours & Benefits

Working Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 4.45pm
