Job Title: Stores/Warehouse Operative

Lmf Motor Factors are an independent run business in the Vale Of Glamorgan. We are a stockist of vehicle parts and accessories who will advise and sell products to Main Dealerships, Independently owned garages as well as directly to the general public.

We are currently recruiting a reliable and motivated

Warehouse Operative

to join our busy team within the automotive industry. This is a hands-on role supporting the efficient storage, picking, and distribution of automotive parts and components.

Brief description of the role:

Warehouse: As a Parts Warehouse Operative you will work as part of a team and individually to handle deliveries and orders. You will need to maintain accurate stock levels and assist with quality control, ensuring that all paperwork and records of deliveries are kept up to date. Working in a Warehouse can be a fast paced environment so it is important you can maintain a high standard of working under pressure.

On site training will be given, previous experience in a similar role is preferable .

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Full time position Monday-Friday with a Saturday Rota

Report to: Branch Manager, Assistant Manager

Main Duties and Requirements but not limited to:

Receiving and checking incoming stock Loading and unloading deliveries Paperwork and records of deliveries are kept up to date Maintain accurate stock levels Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment Carrying out stock checks and inventory control Working to productivity, quality, and health & safety standards Answering phone call from the trade Taking payments on the shop front counter Ensure high levels of customer service at all times

Requirements

Holds full driving licence Smart appearance and professional presentation Ability to understand necessity of excellent standards of customer service and work to deadlines Works with integrity and in the interest of the company Experience within the automotive industry Knowledge of car parts IT Skills Good time keeping Good attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Customer service skills and communication skills Knowledge of the Vale of Glamorgan and surrounding areas
