Strategic Customer Engagement and Communications Lead



Location:

Glasgow (Home Based Agile Worker)

Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary:

SCP 5255 (68,22773,069) per annum

Contract Type:

Permanent


Wheatley Group is seeking a Strategic Customer Engagement and Communications Lead to lead the development and delivery of a bespoke neighbourhood engagement and communications framework. This pivotal role will align with our Group strategy supporting key objectives for our homes, customers, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead the creation and implementation of a strategic framework for customer engagement and communications across the Wheatley Group Influence strategic direction through structured projects with clear milestones, objectives, and outcomes Develop robust methods for monitoring and evaluating engagement activities using customer insight, feedback, social media analysis, and other key inputs Report findings and recommendations to the Executive Team and Boards to inform decision-making and drive improvements Champion inclusive engagement and transparent communication to enhance customer satisfaction and community empowerment Deliver tailored, locally focused communications that build trust and showcase the impact of our vision and values Ensure customers and stakeholders are kept informed through multi-media platforms and newsletters Foster effective partnerships with external stakeholders to support community involvement and influence

What We're Looking For:



The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field Proven experience in strategic communications and customer engagement at a senior level Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver complex initiatives Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities A commitment to inclusive practices and community-focused outcomes
