The role
We are a dynamic and forward-thinking insurance MGU, focused on delivering exceptional risk solutions in an increasingly complex world.
As a Strategic Outsourcing Analyst, you will play a key supporting role within the strategic outsourcing function. Reporting to the Group Head of Strategic Outsourcing, you will assist in the ongoing governance, performance monitoring, and compliance oversight of third-party and offshore service providers across TFP's operational footprint. You will ensure that data, documentation, and processes are maintained to a high standard and that outsourced services meet agreed SLAs and regulatory requirements. This role will work closely with key business stakeholders and external providers to promote service excellence, operational resilience, and continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities
Outsourcing Governance and Oversight:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all outsourcing arrangements.
Support the implementation of outsourcing policies, frameworks and procedures.
Assist in the coordination of governance forums, preparing materials and tracking follow-up actions.
Support compliance with FCA and PRA outsourcing regulations, including SM&CR and Operational Resilience.
Vendor & Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyse third-party KPIs and SLAs, highlighting risks or underperformance.
Help prepare reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders including the Group Head of Strategic Outsourcing.
Assist with onboarding and ongoing due diligence processes for new vendors and offshore partners.
Operational Support & Transition:
Coordinate logistics, documentation, and communications for outsourcing transitions or offshoring initiatives.
Support effective knowledge transfer and operational handover to outsourced teams.
Liaise with internal teams to gather requirements and monitor delivery against service expectations.
Contract and Documentation Support:
Help maintain a central repository of outsourcing contracts, SLAs and risk assessments.
Provide support in contract review processes and escalation documentation
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute ideas to improve outsourcing processes, reporting, documentation, and automation opportunities.
Participate in internal projects relating to third-party risk management and vendor optimisation.
Audit & Regulatory Support:
Assist in preparing materials for internal or external audits or regulatory reviews related to outsourcing.
General:
Provide day-to-day administrative, analytical and coordination support to the Group Head of Strategic Outsourcing and the wider Business Operations team as required.

Skills & experience
Experience in a business support, operations, vendor management or compliance-related role, ideally in an MGA, insurer, or financial services firm.
Understanding or awareness of FCA and PRA outsourcing guidelines is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Comfortable working with performance data, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Excellent attention to detail, written communication, and documentation accuracy.
Strong collaboration skills to work across departments and with external vendors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Degree-level education in business, operations, finance, or a related field is preferred.
