Make a meaningful impact with RNIB

At RNIB, we're proud to be a driving force in creating a more inclusive world for blind and partially sighted people. We're looking for an experienced and passionate Management Information (MI) Lead to join our Strategy and Performance team. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Performance, this is a high-impact role at the intersection of strategy, data, and operational delivery.

If you're a data-savvy, strategic thinker with a passion for turning information into insight - we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As our MI Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how RNIB measures and manages its performance. You'll support the design and delivery of our performance management strategy, working to implement meaningful frameworks, tools, and processes that ensure we achieve our strategic ambitions.

You'll be the go-to person for MI across the organisation, providing insightful analysis and communicating performance clearly and confidently to stakeholders at every level - from operational teams to senior leadership and the Executive.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Leading the development and implementation of a performance management framework and MI systems. Regularly analysing and reporting performance data, translating insights into clear recommendations to improve effectiveness, efficiency, ROI/SROI and Value for Money (VfM). Supporting the delivery of RNIB's Strategy and Business Plan through strategic and tactical performance measures. Acting as a 'critical friend' to senior leaders, challenging and aligning around KPIs and outcomes. Continuously improving data quality and ensuring integrity across all sources. Embedding a data-driven, performance-led culture across the organisation. Collaborating closely with Strategy, BI and Impact, Planning and Delivery, and cross-functional teams across RNIB.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

A strong background in MI and performance management at both strategic and operational levels. Proven experience designing and implementing performance frameworks, systems, and governance. Deep knowledge of ROI, SROI, and VfM methodologies. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and extract clear insights. Strategic thinking, with the ability to consider soft systems and external/internal drivers of performance. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels. A collaborative, self-starting mindset, able to work independently and as part of a high-performing team. Comfort working under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

What We Offer

RNIB prides itself on being a great place to work with a positive, progressive culture. We offer a wide range of benefits including 26 days of holiday per year (plus bank holidays) which rises with service, enhanced family friendly benefits, a contributory pension scheme with an employer contribution of up to 11% and a rewards platform with employee discounts across over 800 retailers.

How to Apply

If you'd like to apply for this opportunity, please apply online, uploading your CV and supporting statement, telling us how you meet the essential criteria in the person specification.
