In this key position you will play a vital role, managing the Trading IT Portfolio, ensuring alignment with both operational and strategic objectives.

How will I spend my time in this role?

  • Provide leadership, line management, and coaching to a team of project and programme managers at varying levels of experience;
  • Lead the development of a consistent and effective approach to portfolio management and investment planning;
  • Direct and support the successful delivery of projects, resolving blockers and managing delivery-level risks;
  • Oversee portfolio-level risks, issues, dependencies, and synergies to ensure strategic alignment and smooth execution;
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across functions to facilitate effective change and build strong working relationships;
  • Develop and manage vendor partnerships, ensuring that third-party contributions to IT change are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects and programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives;
  • Significant experience in the energy trading sector or a similarly regulated industry
