Position Overview:

As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will be at the forefront of our procurement operations. You will define the approach and lead the delivery of strategic procurement and routine purchasing, ensuring strict compliance with EU legislation, UK Law, and Trust Standing Financial Instructions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet the diverse needs of our healthcare organization.
  • Maximizing value for money opportunities while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
  • Identifying and implementing process efficiencies to streamline procurement operations.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and provide expert advice and guidance.
  • Managing a team of procurement professionals and providing leadership and support.
  • Keeping up-to-date with procurement best practices and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A bachelor\'s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. CIPS qualification is desirable.
  • Proven experience in procurement management within a healthcare or public sector environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EU legislation, UK Law, and NHS procurement regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
