About the role



Are you a research professional with a passion for driving strategic change? Do you thrive on turning data into insight that informs action? If so, we have an exceptional opportunity for you to join our forward-thinking Performance and Improvement Team as a Strategic Research Officer.


This is not just another research role. It's a chance to influence transformational change across the council.


Your demographic and financial analysis will inform strategic and operational planning, supporting data-led decision-making and our financial resilience as an organisation. You'll be supporting transformation and modernisation initiatives, exploring new models of service delivery.


How does this role make a difference



Your research will directly influence strategic planning, policy development, and service transformation. You'll work closely with senior managers and elected members to identify opportunities for efficiencies, innovation and improvement, that shape the future of public services in Conwy.

A proven research professional with strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the confidence to present complex insights and influence senior stakeholders. You'll be experienced in managing research projects and using emerging tools to deliver high-quality, actionable intelligence.

Interview and test will be held on either the 28th November or the 1st December.
