Key responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing (80%)
Proactively procure high-value goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with ENGIE's Code of Conduct.
Develop and implement strategic sourcing contracts, focusing on categories like IT, consultancy, MRO, and equipment.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive value and innovation.
Mentor and develop junior procurement staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Procurement Excellence & Data Analytics (20%)
Develop and maintain dashboards and visual management tools using Power BI.
Support decision-making with data-driven insights and recommendations.
Lead digitisation initiatives to enhance procurement operations.
What we are looking for
An experienced procurement professional with 5-7 years in buying goods and services, particularly high-value contracts
Proficient in IT systems and procurement ERP systems (SAP/Ariba knowledge is a plus)
Skilled in Microsoft 365 suite, with familiarity in Power BI or Power Automate
Analytical thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and process automation
Strong negotiator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Degree holder in a relevant field, with CIPS qualification or willingness to work towards it
Full driving license and own transport
Job Based In
This is a hybrid role primarily based in our London office, with weekly travel (one day per week) to our Cheshire location. The flexibility of this arrangement allows for a balance between collaborative in-person work and remote productivity.
