Have you got experience of programme management and implementing change into an organisation? This is an exciting time for you to join our team as our Strategic Workforce Planning Manager.

This role is key to ensuring that we have the resource resilience for the future. Anglian Water and our Partner companies that form its Alliances, have identified the need for a strategic workforce planning strategy. As a business, we need to de-risk the impact of a changing environment which will require different skills to run our business in the future so that our organisation can continue to accomplish our goals and strategic plan.

For us to create this, we are looking for an experienced Strategic Workforce Planning Manager to play a leading role in helping us shape and deliver this strategy. The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide expertise and thought leadership on strategic workforce planning and job architecture.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

As our Strategic Workforce Planning Manager, you will manage and support the delivery of the Workforce Planning Project across Anglian Water and its Alliances, through the development and delivery of work streams/projects and initiatives to agreed time, cost and quality.

Your programme management experience and stakeholder management skills will be key in this role, as you will need to understand the current organisational structure and the roles, skills and demographic that currently sit within it and accordingly analyse the data available to make meaningful recommendations to drive future opportunities/workstreams. These workstreams must be fully aligned to the programme and wider business strategy, whilst ensuring business ownership, through the effective management of stakeholders. You will define project communication and ensure consistent messages with other projects and stakeholders throughout.

This is a pivotal role for our business and will cover a diverse set of activities and initiatives covering people, process, systems, analysing and collating data. You will be leading on a critical project for our business, helping to ensure we remain a leading water company and employer that can adapt to our ever-changing priorities.

What does it take to be successful?

- A track record in shaping a new workforce planning approach and an excellent understanding of workforce planning
- Proficient in gathering and assessing qualitative and quantitative data and drawing clear and reasoned conclusions in order to provide actionable recommendations
- Evidence of impactful and successful delivery across organisation design, strategic workforce planning and job architecture
- Experience of leading large-scale projects and implementing change into an organisation

- Programme management experience and ability to work across multiple workstreams
-Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to influence a range of stakeholders at all levels
- Strong team building skills and a track record of delivering in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to think strategically with a pro-active approach
