The of a Strategy Director is to be the lead strategist on a key piece of client business. The strategy director is responsible for the following:
Rigorously articulate and interrogate client needs:
The Strategy Director will be able to translate these needs into both annual plans and specific briefs that will clearly meet their objectives.
Be the voice of the consumer in the room.
The Strategy Director will bring fresh audience-led thinking to the table and live and breathe the audience. They will lead audience research to uncover actionable insights. They will be on top of the latest qual and quant platforms and methodologies.
Set the path forward.
The Strategy Director will be able to lay out the strategic vision of the client both internally and externally, collaborating with different teams and partners and bringing stakeholders on board.
Ideate with creative teams.
The Strategy Director will be a powerful source of inspiration for creative teams through providing well-defined, incisive and exciting briefs and through working collaboratively with teams during the creative development process. They will provide stimulus and guidance but also flexibility.
Help manifest creative ideas.
The Strategy Director will provide frameworks and up-to-date understanding of platforms and channels to bring the work to life in the most effective way.
Build and present powerful presentations.
The Strategy Director will create documents, workshops and give presentations that sell in creative ideas and help clients with their internal sell in.
Measure effectiveness of work

The Strategy Director will hold the work accountable to a range of key client KPIs and proactively build measurement frameworks to keep track of performance.
