As Strategy & Innovation Manager, you\'ll help shape the strategic agenda of Commercial & Institutional. You will project manage and deliver strategic initiatives and innovation projects through all stages, from design to execution. With strong communication and collaborative skills, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with senior management to inform key strategic decisions and to bring innovative solutions to our customers and front-line colleagues.
Additionally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be:
- Planning, organising, and delivering projects individually or through project teams
- Sourcing innovative ideas to build innovation pipelines that are aligned to and support the business strategy and are based on customer needs
- Iterating and shaping propositions and projects, building on insight and testing with customers and commercial business needs
- Analysing business performance, competitor activity, potential business opportunities and customer behaviours
- Collaborating closely with colleagues and preparing reports for executive and board audiences
You\xe2\x80\x99ll already have experience of working in strategy or innovation, particularly within financial services. We\xe2\x80\x99ll also be looking for you to have the ability to rapidly deliver projects, and solve problems in a structured and analytical manner drawing on a wide variety of sources.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll also need:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a range of senior stakeholders
- The ability to present complex information and ideas, succinctly and with clarity, to build understanding and support
- Good influencing skills and the ability to challenge constructively
- A sound understanding of the Commercial Banking sector, customer needs and trends as well as products
- Experience gained at a top consulting firm will be beneficial
