About Beatbox

Beatbox is a revolutionary new music app, soon to launch, that empowers artists to create and share music directly from their phones. The app allows users to record vocals over instrumentals, mix, master, and upload tracks to streaming platforms -- all in one place.

Artists can also upload directly to social platforms and even record videos of themselves performing over their created tracks, making Beatbox a powerful tool for music creation, promotion, and community building.

About the Role

We are looking for a part-time Marketing & Strategy Manager to lead the strategic marketing activities for Beatbox. This role is central to shaping the brand's marketing vision, ensuring our campaigns are aligned with business objectives, and overseeing the execution of tactical initiatives by the Marketing Community Coordinator.

The ideal candidate is strategic, creative, and commercially minded, with a proven track record in leading marketing strategies for digital-first brands.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning

- Develop and own the overall marketing strategy for Beatbox, aligned with company objectives.
- Lead on brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
- Identify new growth opportunities across digital, social, influencer, PR, and partnerships.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

- Set the social media strategy across all key channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, etc).
- Work closely with the Marketing Community Coordinator to ensure content calendars and campaigns are delivered effectively.
- Oversee paid and organic strategies to drive growth and engagement.

Campaign Management

- Create and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns for product launches, events, and brand activations.
- Manage budgets for marketing initiatives, ensuring ROI on campaigns.
- Establish partnerships with influencers, creators, and external agencies where required.

Community & Engagement

- Define the approach for building strong communities on platforms like Discord and Reddit.
- Ensure brand tone and messaging are consistent across all touchpoints.

Performance & Reporting

- Define KPIs and success metrics for all marketing initiatives.
- Report regularly to the leadership team on performance, insights, and opportunities.
- Use analytics tools to refine and optimize campaigns.

Leadership

- Manage, support, and mentor the Marketing Community Coordinator, ensuring alignment with overall strategy.
- Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and innovation in marketing.

Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand management, or digital marketing roles.
- Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies for digital-first or app-based businesses.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter/X, Reddit, Discord).
- Experience managing budgets and reporting on marketing performance.
- Ability to balance creative vision with data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Experience managing a team or direct report preferred.

Pay: 2,000.00 per month
