About the role

At BHCC we really value our drivers, recognising them as key to delivering the front-line service to our residents, creating that great first impression of us.
We are looking for safe and considerate drivers who work well in a team and can be flexible, friendly, and organised. If you are newly qualified, we can provide you with the experience to develop your skills and career.
You will work within the City Clean service driving or operating a range of vehicles including cage vans, minimacts and mechanical sweepers that will assist you in providing high standards of cleanliness across the city.
We have two driving vacancies requiring a C1 category licence.
We are offering a rolling rota shift pattern which is 05.00am to 13.06pm.
Central AM shift (C1 Driving License)
Rolling Rota, 5am - 1:06pm
Salary breakdown:
Scale 4b: 27,269 - 27,711 (for working 37 hours a week)
1 hour contracted overtime - plus enhancements for working weekend and unsocial hours

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

These would be part of your individual working arrangements alongside any personal preference agreed with your manager in advance of joining.
