Winter Wonderland is one of London's most iconic seasonal attractions, welcoming millions of visitors each year for festive fun, entertainment, and fantastic food. Artisan Catering are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Food Court Duty Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our brand bustling food court area, home to 5 of our in house street food concessions.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role suited to someone with a passion for food, excellent people management skills, and a strong understanding of food safety and health & safety regulations. You'll be the go-to person on the ground, ensuring smooth operation, guest satisfaction, and high standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities



Operational Oversight:Manage the daily operations of the food court, ensuring all stalls, supervisors, team members and staff operate smoothly and to schedule. Health & Safety Compliance:Ensure adherence to all relevant health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations. Carry out daily checks and address issues promptly. Vendor & Staff Coordination:Support, liaise with, and oversee team members. Manage and coordinate temporary event staff, addressing staffing issues as needed. Customer Service:Monitor and maintain a high level of guest experience within the food court area, proactively resolving any complaints or concerns. Incident Management:Respond to and document any incidents, accidents, or emergencies in a timely and professional manner. Stock Management: Work with our kitchen manager to ensure all stock is ordered appropriately, rotated and managed with our suppliers. Logistics & Supplies:Ensure the availability of essential supplies and utilities (e.g., water, waste, power) for units, and report any technical faults. Reporting & Communication:Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager and other stakeholders. Complete daily logs and handover notes. Compliance Monitoring:Support audits and inspections by internal teams or external authorities. Ensure all food units display appropriate documentation and certifications)

About You



Essential:

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a hospitality, food service, or event environment. In-depth knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and during holiday periods.
Desirable:

Food Safety Level 3 qualification. First Aid certification. Previous experience in outdoor or temporary event environments.
