to join our team in our Blairlinn Depot on a full time permanent position for Hochtief Construction for our North Lanarkshire Project.
The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring your team meets and exceeds company standards for performance and productivity. Communicate organisational needs, oversee employees' performance, provide guidance, support, identify development needs, and manage the reciprocal relationship between staff and the company so that each is successful. A vehicle will be provided for business use.
Key responsibilities include:
Experience in track works and highways maintenance works.
Experience in construction and streetlighting civils maintenance works.
Drive/operate vehicles including HGV/Small & Large plant ensuring vehicle checks, routing maintenance and cleaning is carried out.
Winter Maintenance , or working towards it- including emergency call out and standby.
Keep records, including drivers' hours and any paperwork necessary.
Comply with Health & Safety regulations and maintain accurate work records.
Participate in winter and summer standby and be part of the standby rota.
Experience:
Experience of 12 months in Electrical Civils operations and maintenance works.
Drive / Operate vehicles and small plant ensuring vehicle checks and cleaning is carried out
Holds a valid driving licence (HGV class 2 preferred) and a drivers CPC card.
