RMF are looking for x1 Groundworker + 2 Streetworks Ops to begin work on a housing project in Bishops Stortford.

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to groundworks, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role is essential in supporting construction projects and maintaining site safety and efficiency.

Duties

Carry out excavation and earthmoving tasks using appropriate tools and machinery. Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other groundwork structures. Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and organised. Operate machinery such as diggers and dumpers where required, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Follow site plans and specifications accurately to meet project requirements. Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in groundworks or a related field is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided. Familiarity with construction tools and machinery is preferred. A valid CSCS card is desirable but can be obtained after employment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
