Today we employ more than 1,800 people in 16 offices across 6 European countries. CT is a multifaceted business that collaborates with the most important industrial companies at the leading edge of the aerospace, defense, automotive, railway, marine, industrial plant and renewable energy sectors, providing product design and R&D, manufacturing engineering and product support engineering, among others.

As a Stress and Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for performing detailed stress, strain, fatigue, and failure analysis using both classical methods and advanced finite element analysis (FEA) tools. You will join a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with design, manufacturing, quality, and project management departments to transform concepts into efficient, high-value technical solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

Stress and Structural Analysis: Perform static, dynamic, thermal, and fatigue analyses of mechanical components and systems using advanced FEA tools (e.g., HyperWorks, ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran) Design Validation: Validate designs through numerical simulations and physical testing, ensuring that structures meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards Optimization: Recommend design modifications to improve structural integrity, reduce weight, and enhance performance while adhering to cost and manufacturing constraints Failure Analysis: Identify failure modes, assess the root causes of component failures, and propose corrective actions or design improvements Material Selection and Application: Evaluate materials and their properties, considering factors such as stress, strain, fatigue life, temperature effects, and environmental conditions Collaboration: Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to integrate analysis results into product designs and ensure manufacturing feasibility Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and presentations to communicate findings, analysis results, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management Team and Leadership: As a senior team member you will be in a position to help mentor and build knowledge with junior members of staff. Sharing your expertise and experience to build the capabilities of the team
