What will you be doing?




We are looking for a

Structural Design Engineer

with strong experience in both metallic and composite structures to support

major aerospace programmes

. You'll work within a multi-disciplinary environment, contributing to the

design and integration

of complex

structural components

used in actuation systems.



Key Responsibilities:



Design of

structural components

such as brackets, hinge fittings, spars and related actuation-system hardware. Integration of

structural designs

within wider system architectures. Application of

DFM/DFA principles

to ensure manufacturability and efficiency. Creation, modification and review of

3D models

and engineering data using

3DX.

Support of stress, manufacturing, and systems teams throughout the product lifecycle. Preparation of technical documentation and design justification where required.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:



Degree in

Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural

or a related engineering discipline. Experience with

metallic and composite structural design

. Background in

designing components

for actuation systems or similar aerospace sub-assemblies. Good understanding of system integration principles. Proficiency with

3DX

(or equivalent high-level CAD tools used in major aerospace programmes). Experience working within a large aerospace OEM or Tier 1 environment. Knowledge of certification processes; signatory-level exposure is a plus.
