Role description

As a Design Engineer for timber hardwood Bridges, you're responsible for the technical design and development of bridge projects from initial sketch to final execution. You translate concept designs into practical, buildable plans and collaborate closely with our head office and/or local structural engineers for the detailed design work. You ensure the right balance between design, engineering, and constructability, always within the agreed time, quality, and budget constraints.

Tasks and responsibilities

Develop bridge designs from concept to detailed construction drawings Coordinate with structural engineers, designers, and construction teams Provide technical support during the construction phase Review designs for feasibility, safety, and sustainability Manage technical documentation and project data Contribute to innovations and improvements in the design process
Skills and competencies

Background in civil or structural engineering Experience with 3D design and modelling software is a plus (we work with Tekla) Analytical and detail-oriented mindset Strong communication skills and ability to work with different disciplines Proactive and solution-driven attitude Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-50,000.00 per year
