Structural Engineer

Due a significant increase in workload, my client based near Torquay and Exeter is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team

The Role

working on a variety of different structures throughout the SouthWest

primary point of contact on projects

work alongside additional team members and mentor junior members of the team

liaise with other engineering disciplines within the practice

responsible for managing the design and deliverables on structural engineering schemes

manage Engineers and Technicians and report to the Director of Engineering

check other engineer's designs as well as hands on design and design coordination from conception through to completion

undertake site meetings/inspections

liaise with clients, architects, contractors and regulatory/statutory authorities The Candidate

BEng/Msc or equivalent within Civil/structural Engineering

At least 3 years significant experience within a design practice environment

Be driven and motivated to help grow the business

Be self-motivated, a team player, possess a strong work ethic and be able to lead and manage a team to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.


Assist with the growth and development of the team

Full clean driving licence beneficial
