Structural Design CAD/REVIT Technician - Structural/Civil

A position has become available for a full-time talented and innovative structural/civil design technician with a sound knowledge of AUTOCAD and REVIT, based in the Chorley office of Rigby Consulting Engineers Limited.

The practice has an established nationwide client base with varied and exciting projects.

Rigby Consulting Engineers Limited employs a team of highly skilled engineers and office based technicians who work with state of the art in house design and drafting software. They pride themselves on being a dedicated and experienced team.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in structural design and be proficient in various design software. This role involves creating detailed schematics and system designs for a variety of projects, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client specifications. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with our engineers to bring concepts to life.

Role Requirements

Experience in the use of AUTOCAD and REVIT is essential

Structural steelwork & reinforced concrete detailing experience

Good communication skills

Team player

Role Responsibilities

Preparation of structural drawings in AUTOCAD and Revit

Preparation of RC drawings and schedules

Assisting the design engineers

Compliance with QA and technical standards

Assistance with site inspections
