Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and compliant with regulations. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, as well as proficiency in relevant software tools.

Duties

Develop and design structural systems for buildings and other structures. Conduct structural analysis to determine the strength and stability of designs. Collaborate with architects and other engineers to create integrated designs. Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation. Manage projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications. Utilise tools like Mathcad and Civil 3D for calculations and modelling. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field. Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D. Strong analytical skills with experience in system design and project management. Excellent mathematical skills for complex calculations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-engineers. Previous experience in structural engineering projects is preferred but not mandatory.
