Prepare and develop accurate and well-coordinated 2D drawings, 3D Revit models, and structural schedules in line with project and client requirements.
Produce General Arrangement (GA) drawings, sections, and detailed Structural construction drawings and company standards.
Interpret engineering calculations and hand sketches to create precise technical drawings and Structural details.
Collaborate with Structural Engineers to understand and deliver the design intent effectively.
Coordinate Revit models and drawings with Architectural, Civil, and MEP disciplines to ensure integration and clash-free designs.
Apply a strong working knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and industry-standard construction methods and materials.
Implement ISO 19650 workflows and naming conventions, contributing to a Common Data Environment (CDE) and following company BIM protocols.
Maintain structured and accurate drawing registers, file naming, and document control processes in accordance with QA/QC procedures.
Update models and drawings to reflect design changes, site markups, or feedback from internal reviews and external stakeholders.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality drawings and models within agreed timeframes and budgets, proactively managing personal workload and priorities.
Mentor junior technicians and contribute to internal knowledge sharing, promoting best practices in Revit modeling and structural detailing.
Secondary Responsibilities
Assist in the development and ongoing implementation of BIM processes and standards within the structural team, in alignment with project and company requirements.
Support structural engineers in the preparation and coordination of design packages for planning applications, tender submissions, and construction documentation.
Contribute to the ongoing refinement of internal workflows, encouraging efficiency, consistency, and quality across project deliverables.
Produce technical hand sketches to aid in the communication of design concepts or solutions when required.
Carry out basic designer risk assessments in accordance with the CDM Regulations 2015, ensuring design safety considerations are documented appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience as a Structural Revit Technician.
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, with a proven ability to produce and manage complex 2D and 3D structural drawings and models.
Strong understanding of structural principles and detailing in concrete, steel, masonry, and timber for building structures.
Knowledge of BIM Level 2 standards and practical experience working within the ISO 19650 framework.
Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE's) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Viewpoint, or Procore.
Skilled in model auditing, clash detection, and conducting model health checks to maintain quality and coordination.
Understanding of construction sequencing, structural design coordination, and multidisciplinary model integration.
