Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural steel detailer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and be proficient in various software applications. As a Structural steel detailer , you will play a crucial role in developing detailed schematics and designs that meet project specifications and client requirements. Your creativity and technical expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects across multiple disciplines. Self employed basis. Must be willing to relocate and work in office and off site.

Duties

Create, modify, and maintain detailed CAD drawings and schematics using software such as AutoCAD, Techla Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and translate them into accurate CAD models. Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations while meeting project deadlines. Conduct quality checks on designs to ensure accuracy and completeness before final submission. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation related to design specifications and project deliverables. Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and industry trends to enhance design processes.

Requirements

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Tecla. Strong understanding of engineering principles and design methodologies. Ability to create detailed schematics and technical drawings with high attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. A portfolio showcasing previous CAD work may be requested during the application process.
