Job Overview

We are looking for a

Structural Technician

to perform project management tasks including coordinating and overseeing structural investigation projects from start to finish. Key areas will be the preparation of technical drawings, reports, conducting site inspections when required and assisting with structural assessments. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of structure details and, ideally, with some experience in site investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce structural details using AutoCAD software. Assist with opening-up works and structural assessments. Prepare reports and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and health & safety requirements. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to support project delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 1 year experience in Structural Engineering Proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience in site investigations and structural assessments. Experience in project management and coordinating engineering projects. Understanding of UK Building Regulations and structural design principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Other Requirements

Eligible to work and live in UK. Willingness to travel to project sites as required. Full driving licence valid in the UK.
