Student Development Administrative Assistant
Permanent
Part Time, 21 hours per week, Wednesday - Friday
Onsite - Riverside Campus
Salary: Grade 2 (BAR) 27,682- 28,473 per annum (Starting Salary 27,682)
This administrative assistant post provides a front facing service to the Student's Association within the Student Development team. This post will be primarily based in City Student Services office, however, will be expected to support at our Riverside Office when requested. The duties include general administration, dealing with enquiries, preparing reports, maintaining spreadsheets and databases, booking appointments, and a front-line point-of-contact at our help desk.
The post holder will prepare and distribute materials for Student Development processes such as training timetables, workshop delivery resources and assistance with events.
The ideal candidate will possess Higher grades or HNC equivalent level qualification and have previous experience of working in an administrative role. Excellent IT skills and a working knowledge of social media are essential as well as an ability to manage your time and workload effectively. An understanding of the role of the Student Services function within a Further Education (FE) environment is desirable, but not essential.
