Student Funding Officer

35 HOURS PER WEEK

PERMANENT

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Student Funding Department. We are seeking to recruit a Student Funding Officer to support the Student Funding Manager in carrying out the development, implementation and monitoring of student funding services.

What You'll Do:

Engage with students and prospective students, offering personalised advice on funding opportunities. Provide expert guidance to student funding staff through clear and supportive communication. Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of payments to students and third parties. Compile statistical returns and provide regular reports to childcare providers and other agencies as required. Manage and update approved software systems efficiently.

Requirements:

SCQF Level 8 qualification, such as an HND in a relevant discipline. Proven supervisory experience in a student funding environment. Deep understanding of student support needs. Proactive and supportive in interactions with students and staff. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
