One Sixth Form, Ipswich 15 hours per week (Mondays and Tuesdays), 40 weeks per year - Permanent Salary: 24,404 - 25,183 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience) Actual Salary: 8,613 - 8,888 per annum
We are seeking a proactive Student Liaison Officer to join our growing Welfare Team. The ideal candidate is friendly and approachable, with excellent communication skills and a responsible attitude to promoting positive student behaviour. A good understanding and knowledge of de-escalation techniques is essential, alongside strong people management skills, the ability to follow processes, and sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

Student Liaison Officers act as a duty officer service, patrolling the site and engaging positively with both staff and students. They provide guidance, supervision, and support, while helping to resolve conflict where needed in a calm and professional manner. The role also involves regular interaction with the general public as part of maintaining a safe and welcoming college environment.
