The Supply Specialists are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to start work in a range of schools in Birmingham

Responsibilities:

Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behaviour. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share resources. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.

Requirements

Some knowledge of the curriculum relevant to the age group being taught. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Experience in using technology as an educational tool is advantageous. So what do we need from you for this role?

- A DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one

- Be available at least 2 days a week

- Live within commutable distance of B11

- Have a proactive and engaging nature

- Confidence!

- Punctual and reliable

There are no specific courses required for this degree however our partner schools naturally try and place you in a subject related to your degree.
