We are seeking to appoint a Student Records Administrator to join the Student Records team within Registry. The postholder is responsible for providing a student-facing service, including resolving enquiries from students, staff and external stakeholders. The role also involves preparing documentation and assisting with the maintenance of student records for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
What you would be doing
---------------------------
Responding to routine correspondence from students, staff and external stakeholders to provide accurate advice and signposting where necessary
Producing and publishing various documentation for current and alumni students, such as Statements of Attendance, transcripts and confirmation of degree letters
Updating and maintaining student record systems in relation to name changes, citizenship changes and missing data
Creating UROP records for both internal and external students and checking students' eligibility
Supporting DBS checking processes by carrying out identity and documentation checks
Updating and maintaining external databases such as HEDD, SLC and TFL
What we are looking for

Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing and the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders
Customer service skills, including resolving queries and managing expectations
Organised and consistent attention to detail skills
Proven experience as a cooperative team member who can also work independently
Excellent IT skills, including experience of using databases to store, edit and retrieve information
