Job Description

We are seeking a

highly organised, articulate and proactive Student Support Officer & Administrator

to join our growing team this January.

This role is central to maintaining an exceptional learner experience and ensuring the smooth running of daily college operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for learners, tutors and visitors, providing both administrative and pastoral support. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks confidently and maintain a positive, solution-focused approach at all times.

Key Responsibilities



Provide day-to-day support to students, including guidance, onboarding and general assistance. Manage administrative duties including data entry, scheduling, document control and student records. Respond to email, telephone and live enquiries in a professional manner. Support tutors and management with coordination of classes, assessments and resources. Monitor learner progress, attendance and compliance documentation. Assist in preparing reports, certification paperwork and course materials. Help maintain an organised, efficient and welcoming college environment.

About You



We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in

administration

and

student/customer support

roles. Able to

multi-task

, prioritise and remain calm under pressure.

Articulate

, well-presented, and confident communicating with students and tutors. Competent and quick on all major IT systems and platforms. Reliable, committed and able to take ownership of tasks. A team player with a positive, proactive approach. Insight into the

aesthetics and hair industry

is an advantage, but not essential.
